When Dan Cullen first visited Wickenburg Ranch in 2016 to play the community’s Big Wick course, it was love at first sight. “After the first round I had to ask myself, ‘Was that real?’” he recalled. Add in more than enough non-golf amenities to keep both he and his wife as busy as they wanted to be and the lightbulb went off in his head.
